Technical Systems Analyst

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Technical Operations Analyst to provide expert support and solutions across our IT infrastructure. This includes Office 365, the on-premises network, and associated core technologies such as Azure, Active Directory, virtualization, SAN, backups, disaster recovery, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and more. In this role, you'll work closely with Network Engineers and Desktop Support staff to scope, assess, plan, design, test, and document both enterprise and cloud-based solutions.

Your contributions will directly support organizational stability, security, and scalability, enhancing operational efficiency and empowering strategic technology initiatives across the business.


Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Administration




  • Support the design and implementation of innovative technical solutions to enhance processes within an Office 365 environment.



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, test systems, and deploy solutions.



  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure systems such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.



  • Document technical issues, solutions, and configurations to ensure consistency and support future needs.




General IT Support




  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for user accounts, operating systems, applications, and network connectivity issues.



  • Contribute to shared support cases, assist teammates, and promote a collaborative team environment.



  • Research and address root causes of recurring issues, implementing long-term fixes.



  • Maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment, coordinating repairs and replacements to minimize downtime.



  • Document resolutions to build a knowledge base and improve service consistency.




Cybersecurity




  • Protect network resources by managing firewalls, VPNs, and IDS, and monitoring for suspicious activity.



  • Collaborate with the information security team to implement ISO 27001-aligned security policies.



  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, perform patch management, and respond promptly to security incidents.




Ideal Candidate Profile


  • Strong technical background in Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization.



  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience managing security tools.



  • Team-oriented, detail-driven, and adept at documentation and process improvement.



  • Committed to operational excellence, with a focus on stability, security, and user satisfaction.




Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer technology or related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of equivalent work experience providing IT support and solutions for enterprise and cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of Microsoft systems required.
  • Willingness to be available after hours as needed.
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis as needed. International travel as needed. Passport eligibility required.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and transport objects weighing 50 pounds.



This position will be onsite in State College, PA, hours are from 8am-5:30pm.
