Summary of the Job:

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the tellers and teller work and ensure employees are focused on providing an exceptional customer experience. The Supervisor will provide leadership in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • This role is the "go to person" in the branch for the day to day successful operation of a branch when the Branch Manager is not present.

  • Conduct one-on-one employee meetings with assigned team members to provide coaching and feedback

  • Provide performance feedback to the manager on teller performance, begin performance review and performance improvement in the HR system and submit to manager.

  • Responsible to ensure there is adequate staff coverage to handle anticipated customer flow.

  • Ensure assigned team members resolve any compliance and operational issues. Identify and recommend any additional training opportunities.

  • Partner with branch manager to suggest and assist in facilitating branch meetings/huddles.

  • Partner with leadership to recognize individual/team success in addition to acting as a mentor to develop the teller team.

  • Effectively demonstrate and perform Teller duties as required to minimize the bank's risk.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of policies and procedures to be an operational resource for the team. Adhere to such policies and procedures and consult with branch leadership on high risk situations.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the branch audits, both onsite and offsite; ensure the branch passes onsite and offsite assessments

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Leadership ability and management skills

  • Previous working experience in a retail banking environment

  • Oral and written communication skills

  • Desire to meet the financial needs of our customers and community

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Bilingual Spanish/English REQUIRED

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $40,310.00-$64,497.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
