ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy. We have an important role to play in securing the region's clean and reliable energy future and we seek folks from a variety of disciplines to join us! In this role you will analyze, study and coordinate transmission outage requests considering respective Resource outage plans to achieve optimum outage schedules that can be reliably implemented, while working to minimize overall congestion costs. Additionally, this position supports the Control Room Operators and Market Operations Analysts in the Day Ahead Market process by providing detailed analysis and technical support seven days a week, on a rotating 10-hour a day shift schedule. This requires frequent and detailed communications with Local Control Centers, Transmission Owners and Generator Owners. What we offer you:
