Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$65,900.00 to$109,800.00.

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

Position Details

Reporting to the Manager, Custom Pricing Offers, the Pricing Analyst will execute and analyze the deployment of Grainger's product pricing strategies and tactics. You will help create pricing strategies, conduct detailed cost and price analysis, and guide the implementation of pricing decisions. You will work in close collaboration with other parts of the organization including Merchandising, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. This position is Hybrid requiring 50% of time onsite at either the Lake Forest, IL HQ or Merchandise Mart Chicago, IL office.

You Will

  • Improve pricing strategies, programs, and tactics.
  • Develop pricing models to analyze the potential pricing strategies and price opportunities.
  • Provide accurate pricing and profitability analysis to help guide decisions.
  • Partner with Pricing Analytics team to develop reliable models and program performance metrics.
  • Develop post analysis and provide recommendations to leadership.

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree required, 1+ years' experience in finance, economics, statistics, sales, supply chain, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Financial and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with information systems, including SQL, Snowflake, SAP.
  • Experience with reporting tools including Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of cross functional business strategies including customer requirements, Supply Chain strategies, product information strategies and marketing strategies.
  • Experience developing financial/pricing analysis and implementing subsequent changes.
  • Proven ability to sustain internal business partner relationships and manage through change as needed.
