About the Role:

The Event Production Senior Manager provides creative direction and expertise across the Creative Element (CE) team. Utilizes knowledge and creativity to translate client needs in order to visually deliver messages. This role is an onsite role supporting the Creative Element team onsite @ our customer offices in Midland, MI.

Primary Responsibilities of the Event Production Senior Manager:



  • Provides creative expertise and counsel across CE, internal teams and all levels of Dow clients.
  • Supports ongoing production team learning through availability, mentorship, shadowing, and exploratory training within the live production team.
  • Provides creative direction for external resources and identifies and maximizes contractor resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Help create production and resource schedules to ensure best utilization of resources.
  • Leverages Global Video and Brand Standards and processes for emerging communication technologies to meet corporate needs.
  • Scheduling, Coordination, Sourcing, Cost management, and Supervision of external vendors and third party teams used for successful event planning, media services, and technical production.
  • Technical advisor for delivery of technological solutions that will creatively and effectively execute messaging for internal studio teams, corporate communications, and external audiences.
  • Active contributor to production processes for multi-camera webcasts/event, and large live event productions.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications of the Event Production Senior Manager:



  • Four-year degree in related, Communications, Media, Live Events, Broadcast Production or proven comparable experience in the industry.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in Post-Editorial Production, Studio Broadcast Production, Live Event, Field Shoot/Field Production.


Preferred Qualifications of the Event Production Senior Manager:



  • Superior leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and creative skills
  • Complete understanding of all aspects of video live production.
  • Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly receive and communicate creative direction to/from others
  • Excellent communication, planning, time-management, and follow-through skills
