We are currently searching for a Order Management Specialist in our Burlington, Massachusetts office. As an Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of Company products and services in order to effectively manage all customer phone calls correctly. With the ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs and wants of the customer, Order Management will ensure solid communication to ensure the customer's complete satisfaction. This is a hybrid position.

What's Your Role?




  • Support sales to meet sales targets quarterly and yearly including entry of sales orders, tracking customer deliveries, providing quotations, and other duties as required to support the sales.
  • Work with Sales, Accounting, Shipping and other departments internally to solve Customer issues.
  • Assisting in customer pricing, orders, and general information.
  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasizes saleable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company production and delivery schedules.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Assist with customer documentation and vendor forms.
  • Collections of bad debt with customers.



What Will You Bring?




  • High school diploma and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking.
  • Be able to work in fast-past, high volume capacity.
  • Maintain positive professional attitude at all times.
  • Experience in MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • SAP experience desired.
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated, have a take charge attitude and prioritize tasks from a variety of supervisors.
  • Customer focused.
