Position Summary:

The Integration Lead will oversee the seamless integration of legacy disaster loan processing systems into the Unified Lending Platform (ULP) within an AWS cloud environment. This role requires expertise in cloud-based infrastructure, data migration, API integrations, and enterprise system modernization. The Integration Lead will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and government agencies to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable system integrations supporting disaster loan processing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of legacy Disaster Loan Assistance applications (DLAP, DCMS 2.0, LIRA, Data Warehouse, and Reporting) into the SBA AWS-hosted ULP.
  • Develop integration strategies for transitioning from Microsoft Azure and Salesforce to AWS-based solutions.
  • Oversee data migration processes, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Design and implement integration frameworks between ULP and external agencies (IRS, Treasury, FEMA, USPS, and credit verification systems).
  • Establish and maintain API connections for third-party services, such as identity verification, fraud detection, tax documentation, and e-signature solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration with SBA's Capital Access Financial System (CAFS) and existing business applications.
  • Lead a cross-functional team in developing and maintaining scalable cloud-based integration solutions.
  • Ensure API and integration development aligns with AWS best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Support Agile development methodologies and implement CI/CD pipelines for integration services.
  • Implement security protocols for system integrations, including multi-factor authentication, encryption, and fraud detection.
  • Ensure compliance with SBA policies, federal cybersecurity regulations, and FedRAMP standards.
  • Provide ongoing operational support for integrated services, ensuring 24/7 system availability.
  • Establish monitoring and troubleshooting mechanisms for integration issues.
  • Develop training and documentation for system integrations and workflows.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Expertise in cloud-based system integrations, data migration, and enterprise application modernization.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Terraform).
  • Proficiency in API development and integration using REST, GraphQL, and SOAP protocols.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of database management, including PostgreSQL, SQL, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Experience with identity verification, fraud detection, and financial system integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in system security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders, developers, and business teams.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Sr. Integrator in system integration, cloud computing, and enterprise software development in AWS environments.
  • Experience with government or financial systems integration is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal compliance standards, including FedRAMP, NIST, and government cybersecurity frameworks.

Clearance:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Possesses or can obtain OPM Position of Public Trust or DoD Secret clearance.

Certifications Required:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
