DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Business Analyst 2, you will serve as the project manager for current and future M5 development projects, where you will oversee the development, implementation, and upgrades to the system. You will have the opportunity to work with a team to identify development needs for BVM to capture information required regarding the Commonwealth fleet. Work involves testing system upgrades, managing and updating databases, as well as creating reports for upper management. You will become a subject matter expert with the M5 system and have a chance to share your knowledge while providing HelpDesk support. Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing work methods, policies, and procedures as well as end user manuals
- Determining the impact that new system releases will have on current workflows
- Monitoring the system functionality and providing insight into future interface requirements
- Researching inquiries and providing responses to Right-to-Know requests, the Press, Legislative, and upper management
- Defining job responsibilities and tailoring menu structure within the application to accommodate the bureau's specific needs
- Coordinating system training on an as-needed basis

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. More information will be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Business Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as an Information Technology Trainee; or
- Five years of business process analysis experience; or
- One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
