FLEET INTERN The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for a Fleet Intern for the Central Garage Division within the Department of Public Works. Under the direction of the Senior Storekeeper, the Fleet Intern will work in the City's central garage and office, gaining practical experience in various aspects of fleet operations and maintenance. This position will assist in the stockroom, utilize computer skills to access and maintain inventory records, manage vehicle repair orders and open work orders through proper documentation and follow-up. Additionally, it involves observing and learning about the repair process as vehicles and equipment move through the shop, interacting with vendors and dealerships to support procurement, and collaborating with the garage crew to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs.
