Starting Pay $93,200

The Director of Workforce Support and Development (WSD) Program provides training, resources, and individualized Employee Support Plans for eligible employees with disabilities working for Didlake. The Director will provide oversight and supervision for WSD Coordinators in the delivery of program supports and services. The Director will oversee all operations associated with the implementation and management of the Workforce Support and Development (WSD) Program supporting Didlake's employees with disabilities working on our contract, retail, and corporate employment sites.



  • Follow and closely monitor the efficacy of all operational procedures and program guidelines in conjunction with the Corporate Strategic Plan and collaboration with Human Resources and other members of the Executive Team.
  • In conjunction with Human Resources and the Training department, develop, conduct, and/or monitor the content of all training to ensure WSD Coordinators are thoroughly prepared to effectively carry out Intakes, Assessments, and develop Employee Support Plans with employees with a variety of disabilities.
  • Manage the roles and responsibilities of the WSD program, WSD Coordinators, and coordinate with HR staff when specific issues and/or incidents arise. Specifically, set parameters for some predetermined issues that include notifications, first respondent, and process for making decisions on specific issues and issues that are outside foreseeable situations.
  • Act as liaison with Human Resources on significant WSD participant personnel issues that exceed typical supports provided by WSD Coordinators.
  • Oversee the process of gathering Documentation of Disability from WSD employees to meet Ability One regulatory standards. Defer to Human Resources for final determination of regulatory compliance.
  • Determine overall staff capacity and manage caseloads appropriate for the delivery of adequate support to WSD participants and site managers/employees.
  • Assign WSD Coordinator's monthly Intake and Assessment schedules and approve logistics associated with Assessments in advance.
  • Manage execution of WSD Intake and Assessment process and monitor to determine if it is effective with determining supports needed for employee success.
  • Manage execution of the WSD Employee Support Plan (ESP) process and develop outcomes to determine if it is effective as a tool for managers supporting WSD program participants.
  • Provide quality assurance assessments in order to ensure Employee Support Plans (ESP) are thorough and accurate based on Intake/Assessment information.
  • Maintain the system to track if required contacts occur on time.
  • Conduct meetings with Human Resources to determine the effectiveness of WSD supports and services and any specific gaps or follow-up needs.
  • Conduct meetings with Project Managers/Managers of Didlake work sites in order to determine the effectiveness of WSD supports and services and any specific gaps or follow-up needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date multiple disability-related resources/strategies/situational responses, etc., for sharing with all employees supporting WSD participants at Didlake.
  • Work with IT to monitor the electronic database (Lauris) that houses WSD participant information and is the documentation platform for all supports provided to WSD participants. Specifically, manage system features to determine if efficient and effective for the Intake/Assessment process, Employee Support Plan (ESP) process, and routine documentation of supports and incidents.
  • Monitor documentation frequencies and timelines and methods for communication/documentation from HR and/or site Managers.
  • Routinely audit the overall effectiveness of the WSD program, WSD Coordinator time management, coordination with HR, and Didlake site supervisors.
  • Review and monitor the financial impact of program expenses.
  • Coordinate tours and roll out meetings with CO PMs
  • Manage regional WSD Program Manager(s), if applicable to ensure they are fulfilling requirements of direct supervision of assigned staff.
