Description

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a visionary and strategic Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to spearhead business development, capture management, and strategic growth in the US Federal technology sector. As a core member of the CGS executive leadership team, the CGO will build and develop a team focused on connecting our client's mission with the breadth of Capgemini commercial innovation and technology. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CGO will be accountable for driving consistent year-over-year revenue and sales growth through a strategic approach, including defining the CGS brand, becoming more client-centric, defining offerings to stay relevant in the industry, and enabling data-driven growth decisions and processes.

Growth Strategy & Business Development:



  • Develop and implement strategies for multi-year growth across the company, including identifying new opportunities for growth through new offerings/products, strategic partnerships, contract vehicles, acquisitions, or markets.
  • Leverage proven track record to win large-scale contracts with key federal agencies to drive growth.
  • Develop and attract a team of CGS Business Development Executives with trusted CXO-level relationships across federal departments.
  • Collaborate with Sector and Capability Leaders to prioritize opportunities. Participate in key strategic deals to drive growth and improve positioning.


  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors to align growth efforts with company capabilities and financial goals.


  • Partner with Capgemini America's leaders to adapt successful commercial client stories for the federal sector, improve account plans, and support M&A efforts.



Partnerships & Marketing:



  • Build CGS federal technology partnerships, leveraging Capgemini's global technology partner status, to enable compelling digital and AI solution sales for the federal mission.


  • Develop and implement a multidimensional CGS marketing strategy, from industry and technology conferences to impactful thought leadership and 'moments that matter.'
  • Drive relationships with government agencies, system integrators, and technology partners to optimize teaming and capture on key strategic deals.



Competitive Positioning & Value Creation:



  • Drive operational excellence within CGS Win Center ("The Foundry") by professionalizing Capture Management, Solutions Architecture, Proposal Management, Writing, and Proposal Operations processes.
  • Lead competitive market assessments and oversee the entire pipeline process.
  • Engage with the CGS Board of Directors on Go-To-Market strategy, sales forecasts, and strategic positioning.
  • Oversee the gate review process, prioritizing efforts to improve CGS win percentages.
  • Enable coordination across Sectors to drive effective captures on strategic deals.
  • Build and develop client-value focused mindset across the CGS team.
  • Increase quality of bids / increase win rates
  • Execute the strategy - quality and size



Qualifications:



  • Proven experience scaling a business from $100M to $1B in revenue
  • Proven success winning $100M+ contracts within DoD and DHS agencies demonstrating expertise in navigating complex procurement processes
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading high-performing business development teams
  • Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in government contracting and technology


  • Established network within DoD, DHS, and other key federal agencies
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex technology solutions with recent experience in three of the following Capgemini service offerings: AI, SaaS, PaaS, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, DevOps, or Cloud
  • Trusted CXO relationships across the US Federal marketplace
  • Experience in leadership roles with federal industry associations
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Growth mindset and broad corporate experience leading change
  • Exceptional written, technical, and oral presentation skills with C-suite stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial work ethic necessary to lead within a rapidly growing business
  • Location is within the DMV
