Location: Winchester, VA

Job Summary:

The Senior PM/Site Principal provides oversight to and management of the Winchester, VA program office. The Senior PM/Site Principal reports directly to the Acuity International Senior Director, P&CM Operations. The Senior PM/Site Principal works closely with the business unit operations, finance and contracts staff for task order scope delivery. As the first point of contact with the USACE client at Middle East District (MED), the Site Principal should expect daily or no less frequent than weekly interaction with all MED Project Managers who are supported directly by Acuity teams. The primary objective of the Site Principal is the overall client satisfaction and quality of work provided to the MED customer. The Site Principal also has managerial responsibility for all contracted staff in the program office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Contracted staff reporting to the Site Principal is responsible for providing specialty project management and cost engineering services as identified by the Statements of Work, and as coordinated by the USACE MED Program Manager and staff.

  • Ensure assigned staff completes task order deliverables that satisfy client requirements and expectations.
  • Provide managerial support for existing staff to include, but not be limited to the following:
    • Onboarding new staff
    • Training
    • Mentoring
    • Client system access (P2, RMS, CEFMS)
    • Interface with facility security officer for CAC, SAAR, LOA, etc
    • Quality reviews of deliverables
  • Assess current business processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support recruiting new staff.
  • Interface with USACE PMs and leadership regularly to gauge client satisfaction.
  • Identify business growth opportunities within District.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a four-year degree and/or 7 plus years of experience in the engineering, construction, and/or project management field.
  • Experience in USACE program and project management as it relates to project controls support.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Maintain one or more professional designations including, but not limited to PMP, CCP, PE.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience holding a leadership position in a professional organization

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
