Job Overview

The Corporate Equipment Manager (CEM) is the key stakeholder in forecasting, purchasing, and maintaining the inventory process of CCCI's cold drink equipment assets. The CEMis responsible for ensuring all Market Unit Regional and Local Operations centers maintain appropriate levels of inventory to meet demand. The CEM serves as the liaison to Corporate Marketing and Sales to understand the capital needs of the commercial operating plans relative to equipment forecasting and fulfillment. The CEM maintains the business relationships with all Original Equipment Manufacturers(OEMs) to support inventory levels, provide performance feedback, and evaluation of new equipment offerings. The CEM maintains the equipment capital budgetfor all new equipment, parts, remanufacturing conversion other related Equipment Services needs and works closely with the corporate finance team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the creation and maintenance of database information that facilitates the purchase, movement, and inventory reconciliation for the department. Handles demand creation reporting for EQS and adjacent departments i.e. marketing, customer management, finance, and property accounting
  • Manages the acquisition of all new equipment, remanufacturing conversion, and other related Equipment Services needs by leading the purchasing, procurement activities of Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) directly for manufacture to facilitate inventory replenishment and to support sales initiatives and all placement activity
  • Arranges freight and assistswith inventory management in all LOC and ROC locations; and servesas the project lead for large and small national customers for placement of cold drink equipment
  • Maintains accurate reporting of capital finance checkbook and leads the reconciliation of the quarterly rebate program in association with CCNA, Monster, Body Armor, Dr Pepper, and other brand company programs. Creates billing to facilitate reimbursement payment to the capital budget and develops and maintains the Corporate Warranty program
  • Tracks and submits all warranty claims to OEM's (avg $50 to $75per year in reclaimed revenue for the department)
  • Forecasts and stewards annual equipment capital budgeting process by analyzing equipment movement trends (placements, removals, moves, and pricing) and then presents an annual forecast to Sr Managerfor approvals
  • Develops and maintains OEM supplier relations, creates and maintains supplier performance scorecards and total cost of ownership(TCO) reporting, and manages freight lane pricing
  • Develops trimester program goals and reporting for "low volume asset removal" to facilitate the remanufacturing conversion process
  • Monitors department capital spend performance and trends against budget and reports results and opportunities to Sr. Management monthly

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • 2-4 years experience in general business management, finance, and business analytics. Knowledge of SAP and CONA is a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate, ability to influence and manage projects
  • Demonstrates managerial courage and leadership candor
  • Expert Level computer application experience including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook required
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal communications, customer service, decision-making, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills are required
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in data analysis, analytics techniques, and skills
  • Must be able to manage and maintain large EQS databases to produce action plans and prepare executive, mgt level detail reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Business and Finance preferred area of study, but not required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
