Summary:

In this role, you will lead the data quality and enrichment function that supports a dynamic and growing Product Delivery team. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of Vizient's product data ecosystem-enabling impactful, data-driven recommendations that support business growth and operational excellence.

As the Director, Analysts, you will lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of analysts-including a direct Manager and their team-and work cross-functionally with Enterprise Master Data Management, Product Management, Sales, Delivery, and Operations. Your focus will be on elevating the quality and strategic value of product data across the organization, positioning it as a critical asset that drives informed decision-making and enhances client outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for data quality, enrichment, and analytics to align with business and product delivery objectives.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality benchmarks to drive accountability and ensure the success of both team operations and data outcomes.

  • Oversee the validation, enrichment, and ongoing maintenance of product data to support Product Advisors and the broader delivery function.

  • Drive continuous improvement in data sourcing, transformation, and visualization to ensure product data is consistently accurate, timely, and actionable in support of operational and strategic objectives.

  • Partner with Product, Contract, and Business Operations to prioritize and execute data initiatives aligned with business goals.

  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for data-driven practices across departments and stakeholder groups.

  • Optimize workflows, tools, and platforms to support scalable and efficient operations across global teams.

  • Build and maintain documentation, governance protocols, and best practices for data management and enrichment.

  • Work with offshore partner / team to enhance operational efficiency and scale data delivery across the broader enterprise.

  • Collaborate with leadership and sales to develop proposals and summarize value opportunities to expand business and retain existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Data Analytics, Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred. Advanced degree desired.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience in data operations, analytics leadership, or product data management required.

  • Experience with data quality frameworks, enrichment processes, and analytics tooling is strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of healthcare supply chain, data usage, and charge data preferred.

  • Experience leveraging tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or SQL to deliver insights and support scalable, data-driven solutions is preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional, geographically distributed teams, combined with excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to influence stakeholders at all levels and translate complex insights for executive and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong strategic thinking and project execution skills with a focus on operational excellence.

  • Proven ability to lead analytics initiatives, drive process improvement, and guide organizational transformation.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
