Associate, Environmental Engineer, Brown and Caldwell, 1400 Centrepark Blvd, Suite 960, West Palm Beach, FL 33401: The Associate, Environmental Engineer will work with and be mentored by strong, local and nationally recognized, senior staff working on a variety of environmental related projects. Job Duties: Work on a variety of environmental engineering projects with an emphasis on water and wastewater facilities, and conveyance/distribution systems; Conduct engineering evaluations, execute design calculations, and prepare reports, plans, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineering staff; Assist with project management related tasks for various engineering design projects; Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing; Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; Assist with studies and alternative analysis; Develop understanding of regulatory and permitting requirements for Florida and State of Florida; Assist with development of permitting plans and permit applications; Assist with hydraulic modeling for stormwater, potable water, and wastewater; Duties also include field activities and site investigations; Data collection, manipulation, analysis, and documentation; Successfully deliver assignments on time and on budget; Participate in and adhere to BC's QA/QC process; Must be willing to work in the field periodically; Field assignments require ability to perform physically demanding work; Excellent technical writing capabilities required; Must be proficient in using standard computer programs (MS Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Telecommuting is permitted. Local travel is required up to 20% of the work time. Basic annual pay is one hundred one thousand one hundred fifty for full-time employment and standard company benefits. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. Four years of professional experience in water resources, water/wastewater treatment and hydraulics.
