JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Transportation Services, a unit within Auxiliary and Business Services, is seeking to hire a Part Time Marketing Communications Assistan to aid with promotion of various transportation-related programs and initiatives, including campus parking operations, event parking, campus transit, bike programs, fleet vehicle rentals and driver services, and campus and community ridesharing programs. Reporting to the Special Projects Manager, the part-time Marketing Communications Assistant will work with the Marketing Communications Specialist to:
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Associated Press (AP) style, and social media best practices, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, due to frequent interactions with faculty, staff, students, and community members. This position will require occasional evening and weekend hours and outdoor work. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or be currently enrolled as a student in a marketing or communications program, and be available to work through at least fall 2025.
