FOOD RUNNER

The Embassy Suites in Rockford, IL is looking for fun and outgoing people to work part time as Food Runners in our restaurant. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry.

As a Food Runner on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:

Ensure a customer is receiving the correct order.
Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct customer.
Double check the order before it goes to a customer.
Organize food tickets for the cooks.
Clean off a table after customers have left, when necessary.
Answer any questions from customers.
Refill customer drinks as needed.

The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:

Ability to listen to directions.
Great organizational skills.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
Ability to remain calm under stressful situations.
Knowledge of food safety.
Dependability and regular attendance.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
