Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our strategic supply chain team. This role directly influences change across our global supply base and within KLA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain and manufacturing operations, with a consistent track record in the semiconductor industry. You will interact with procurement, engineering, quality, and product teams, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and support New Product Introduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Supplier Management: Responsible for global supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Implement the aligned global category strategies with assigned suppliers.
  • RFQ/RFP Development & Negotiation: Develop and coordinate RFQs and RFPs within the supply base. Drive negotiation and contract process with assigned suppliers and relevant internal global customers.
  • Performance & Improvement: Lead the supplier performance process and coordinate quarterly business reviews with the executive team. Manage and report on key performance metrics related to supplier performance and efficiency improvements.
  • Risk Mitigation & Leadership: Identify supplier risk and work with assigned suppliers to develop global multi-functional mitigation plans to ensure supply chain resiliency.
  • Strategic Assignments: Manage critical assignments tied to key Global Operations strategic plans. Customers may be internal and/or external.
  • Supplier Development: Develop and implement plans for efficiency improvements. Initiate programs to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Contract Negotiation: Secure favorable terms with suppliers and partners. Ensure alignment with business and operations requirement.
  • Market Analysis & Relationship Building: Analyze market trends and supply chain metrics. Build positive relationships with internal customers and external vendors.
  • Technical Analysis: Ability to perform technical analysis required to support global capacity assessments, forecasting improvements & supplier financial status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, science, business, or a related field. A master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred

  • Global Supply Chain/Procurement of 8 years or 6 years of a relevant technical field with 2 years of Supply Chain/Procurement experience. The relevant technical specialties may include the following: technical sales, R&D engineering, program management or new product introduction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

  • 25% travel domestic or international

  • Implement strategic supplier initiatives that map to and support overall business strategies.

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in supply chain management systems and tools.

  • Strong technical, business, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Work multi-functionally between internal groups to achieve common business objectives.

  • Able to ensure compliance with company standard processes, policies, procedures, and external compliance requirements

Base Pay Range: $126,400.00 - $214,900.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.

The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
