You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (as a rising Junior or Senior) in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related degree. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Communications Intern in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Communications Organization in the Corporate Business Unit. Your work will include:



  • Drafting, refining, and editing communication deliverables aligning with campaign goals and business priorities
  • Collaborating with partners across the company to support integrated plans and content - including feature stories, internal employee messages, social media content, posters, digital graphics, executive briefings, and video assets.
  • Supporting communication leads across the organization in the development and execution of tactics for multiple audiences and platforms, including internal and external events
  • Coordinating with peers in marketing, human resources, information technology, and other business units to ensure message consistency, share assets, and serve as a key conduit between functions

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $24.10 - $31.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
