Position Summary

Command Cyber Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer SME - Software Developer SME to support the design, development, and modernization of secure, cloud-native applications in support of federal mission systems. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for building scalable, user-centered software solutions that integrate front-end interfaces, back-end services, and API-driven middleware in a fully cloud-hosted environment. This role requires proficiency across the full development stack, including UI/UX design, secure database integration, and responsive mobile/web development. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of modern software engineering principles, cloud platforms such as Azure, and Agile/DevSecOps practices used in high-security, government IT environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software applications in a secure, cloud-hosted environment.

• Perform both front-end and back-end development, including building user interfaces, server logic, APIs, and database integrations.

• Modify and enhance existing applications to improve functionality, security, performance, and system integration.

• Develop, maintain, and document application builds, scripts, database schemas, and software utilities.

• Implement responsive and accessible UI/UX in alignment with user-centered design principles and federal accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG 2.2 AA).

• Integrate applications with third-party APIs and internal web services, ensuring secure data exchange and auditability.

• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines to support Agile delivery in DevSecOps environments.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA testers to translate requirements into functional solutions and support iterative releases.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.

• Ensure all development complies with applicable federal security standards and development lifecycle requirements.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field

• 10+ years of experience and other qualifications.

• US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Certifications (preferred):

• Azure Developer Associate.

• AWS Certified Developer - Associate.

• Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or SAFe Practitioner.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development technologies, including JavaScript, KnockoutJS, C#, and SQL.

• Experience with frameworks such as Durandal, .NET, and cloud services (preferably Azure).

• Familiarity with secure software development practices and integration of NIST SP 800-53 or OWASP ASVS controls.

• Proficiency with Agile project management and development tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and secure authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed Agile teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

• Experience with responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-platform development.

• Ability to manage multiple development tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

• This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office working on EST time schedule

• Hours of operation are M-F between 0800-1630.

• Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days

• Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
