Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Fabrication Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble prepared machined parts, such as rails, panels, and bars, into bus doors, following prescribed patterns. The ideal candidate will be self-managed, detail-oriented, and focused on producing high-quality products while seeking innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Form rails according to drawing specifications using pneumatic and hydraulic forming presses.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain safe operations.
• Ensure continuity between shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Complete production and quality logs to document actions effectively.
• Stay current by participating in educational opportunities and reviewing technical publications.
• Accept ownership of new requests and explore opportunities to enhance job performance.
• Follow instructions and management directives diligently.
• Maintain a safe working environment and practice good housekeeping following 5S principles.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Two years of technical trade school education, relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
