Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for a Biosafety Program Management Supportto support the members at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award. The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn. Responsibilities:
- Serve as Building 8100 Suite Supervisor and assist the Director of Transition, Biosafety Officer, Health Facilities Planning Agency (HFPA), and Initial Outfitting and Transition (IO&T) in coordination of research move planning and execution, transition planning and execution, research equipment planning, biocontainment regulations and policies, 8100 facility operations, instrument operation, and USAMRIID research and biocontainment operations.
- Facilitate the completion of Suite Safety Manuals for each suite in Building 8100 by coordinating and providing suite personnel tours of their respective lab space in Building 8100. Approximate workload is 50 suite manuals.
- Assist Suite Supervisors by maintaining the most current information for suite operations and assist with suite supervision in Buildings 1301, 1408, 1412, 1425, 1443, and 1444. Duties include maintaining schedules for maintenance and inspections; participation in the biosafety compliance program; participation in suite-specific or study-specific meetings; scheduling and organizing BSL-3/BSL-4 user meetings; maintaining suite supervisor rosters.
- Provide direct oversight and management of BSL-2, BSL-3 and BSL-4 containment suites in Building 8100. Duties include assisting in the planning and transition of suite operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordinating the functional and efficient utilization of containment laboratory space.
- Provide suite orientation and training as well as escort applicable USAMRIID personnel as needed.
- Assist with internal and external inspections and suite tours in Buildings 1301, 1408, 1412, 1425, 1443, 1444 and 8100 as needed; ensuring safety and biosecurity procedures are followed at all times.
- Coordinate and track the status of all training required to gain and maintain suite access for all containment personnel. Individual or summary training status reports shall be provided to the Biosafety Manager upon request.
- Assist to author, revise, review and track Biosafety related SOPs, forms and risk assessments.
- Provide technical and program management support to the Biosafety Mentorship Program, Training Program and Compliance Program. Duties include establishment and maintenance of program tracking mechanisms, coordination of training, conducting and documenting suite activity inspections, identifying and reporting potential observed risks and ensuring implementation of the Biosafety Plan by all suite personnel.
- Manage and maintain BSL-3 and BSL-4 personal protection equipment (PPE) to include forward distribution sites for suite personnel to maintain mission readiness. Duties include monitoring usage and levels at these sites, ordering PPE, receiving orders, as well as stocking PPE at forward distribution sites.
- Assist with biosafety near miss/mishap analyses for identification of trends and potential corrective actions for incorporation into user trainings.
- BPRP enrollment is required and shall be held and maintained IAW the provisions in this contract and all applicable regulations.
