A Contract Performance Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support for daily activities critical to government contracts. Their responsibilities include providing sales and customer support for general and contractual inquires related to products, pricing, accounts, formularies, and technology; coordinating cross-functionally with various departments to resolve issues; and ensuring the successful execution of contracts. Overall, the Contract Performance Representative partners with stakeholders to support the day-to-day operations of government contracts to drive customer satisfaction and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities (List the top five to seven essential responsibilities in priority order):

1.Customer Support: Serve as point of contact for customers buying from contracts and manage customer relationships in conjunction with Sales.

2.Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues, disputes, or conflicts that arise during contract performance specifically related to accounts, formularies, orders, pricing, products, technology, and reporting.

3.Clear contract understanding: Ensure a thorough understanding of the contract terms and conditions, including all obligations and deliverables, to align operational and financial activities with the contract requirements.

4.Project Management: Manage projects as assigned.

5.Risk management: Identify and assess potential risks that could impact the operational and financial execution of contracts. Monitor compliance with contractual terms, escalate issues, and develop and execute mitigation strategies.

6.Performance monitoring: Generate reports and documentation to track and communicate contract performance. This may include preparing performance metrics, progress reports, and other relevant documentation to keep stakeholders informed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • 4-year degree preferred

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience working within a high-volume customer-driven environment with excellent customer service skills and a passion for supporting government customers

  • Knowledge of government contracting

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Working Conditions:

  • Environment (office, warehouse, etc.): Office

  • Physical Requirements (lifting, standing, etc.): Normal office requirements - significant computer work and meetings

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $58,500 - $97,500
