Fire Brigade Supervisor

Job Summary: Trains for and participates in emergency responses to various fire,

smoke and environmental hazard alarms.

Responsibilities:

* Responds to alarms and participates in control and mitigation efforts

* Performs routine patrols

* Remains skilled in modern fire suppression tactics

* Participates in ongoing, collaborative training and drills

* Works effectively following policies and procedures

* Leads and directs Fire Brigade Firefighters and Fire Brigade Dispatchers

Minimum Required Qualifications:

* Fire Officer certification through MI Office of the State Fire Marshal

(OSFM)

* Hazmat-Technician (Operations preferred) certification through MI

Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM)

* Fire Service Instructor certification through MI Office of the State Fire

Marshal (OSFM)

* NIMS/FEMA (preferred)

* MSDS/SDS/ISO (preferred)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
