This position is responsible for the complete installation of assigned new stores, relocations, expansions, renovations, or remodels.

This position is responsible for the complete installation of assigned new stores, relocations, expansions, renovations, or remodels. The locations are to reflect the current fixturing (as submitted in approved drawings), merchandising (per latest Plan-O-Gram), equipment placement (to include relocation and/or installation of POS, Satellite, Mix/Tint equipment), computer cabling installation, warehouse anchoring, POP/Visual Aids, Signs, and office arrangement. Manage the labor workers and store staff during fixture installation. Oversee the completion of construction items remaining on punch-list (supplied by Division-Engineering). Contact store personnel (before your arrival) to arrange next installation project.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS



  • Manage, supervise vendors and ensure the complete fixturing and merchandising of new, relocation, remodels, and renovation projects which may be assigned.
  • Manage, supervise vendors, and/or install all fixtures and equipment per approved layouts.
  • Perform installation/relocation of all computer equipment for POS, MGR, and TINT systems.
  • Fully complete all assigned projects within time frame allocated for a timely conclusion of project and opening of store.
  • Provide appropriate feedback to others (including District and Division staff) in order to ensure a more efficient installation and prompt opening of store.
  • Perform responsibilities within Company guidelines established in order to finalize project with maximum results at a minimum of expenses.
  • Maintain personal travel expense within guidelines as established by Department. Submit reports on timely basis.
  • Prepare all required reports (Punch Lists, Travel Expense Reports, etc.) promptly and mail on required dates. Include photos of finished location with punch lists.
  • Possess the ability and be proficient in the use of power tools, to include ability to perform carpentry skills.
  • Contact local District and/or Store Manager to verify store installation is complete and project is approved

Required:



  • High School


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's degree



KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • 2+ year with Sherwin-Williams or in related construction / installations field.


Preferred:



  • 4+ years with Sherwin-Williams or in related construction / installations field.



TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred:



  • Mechanical or trade skills



TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

50% OR MORE
