Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a crucial role in promoting the mission and objectives of the Pardee Hospital Foundation. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic marketing and communication plans to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and generate support for the Foundation's philanthropic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, communication, and public relations, with a passion for healthcare and philanthropy.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to advance the Foundation's goals.

* Collaborate with the Foundation Team to align marketing efforts with fundraising and donor engagement objectives.

* Conduct market research and stay updated on healthcare industry trends to inform strategy.

2. Content Creation:

* Create engaging and persuasive content for various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and print material.

* Write and edit press releases, articles, and stories that highlight the impact of the Foundation's work.

* Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging.

* Create graphics for minor events and campaigns that align with brand standards.

3. Digital Marketing:

* Oversee the Foundation's digital presence, including the website and social media channels.

* Develop and execute online marketing campaigns to promote events, fundraising initiatives, and donor engagement.

* Monitor website analytics and social media insights to access the effectiveness of digital efforts.

4. Donor Engagement:

* Work closely with the Foundation Team to create donor-focused communications and stewardship materials.

* Support donor recognition efforts and develop personalized donor stories.

* Ensure transparency in reporting on the use of funds and impact achieved.

5. Event Management:

* Organizes marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing materials.

* Work closely with volunteer committees to create excitement and engagement for our events.

6. Collaboration and Team Leadership:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Foundation to achieve shared goals.

* Supervise marketing and communication staff or contractors, if applicable.

Other information:

Qualifications:

Required

* Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.

* Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, social medial management, and email marketing.

* Knowledge of media relations and event planning.

* Familiarity with donor engagement and stewardship principles.

* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Preferred

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications public relations, or a related field; preferred but not required.
