Biweekly Hours: 80 Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit healthcare network is seeking a Urology PA or NP to join our Urology team in our physician lead medical group. The Urology NP will evaluate, consult, and treat Urology patients, and provide First Assistance in the OR. The NP will share round responsibilities in the hospital on admitted patients and see follow up appointments in clinic. Surgery procedures performed will generally include tasks like tissue manipulation, suturing, and managing bleeding during surgery. The Ideal APP candidate will have Urology experience and / or Surgery Assist experience. This position will require First Assist Certification from APRNs. Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are affiliate partners in Nevada's first integrated academic health system. The affiliation aims to improve the health of the community, region, and state through research, medical education, and expanded clinical care. Renown physicians participate as joint faculty at UNR Med for teaching, lectures, supervising clinical rotations, and other academic activities for the education of medical and physician assistant students, residents, and fellows.
