Overview

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Administrative Assistant in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).



Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Performs a variety of routine to complex secretarial and administrative functions in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures. Collects, analyzes, and compiles data and information from various sources; composes, prepares, and types a variety of correspondence, memos, reports, and other materials; maintains hardcopy/electronic files, and assists with tracking budgets related to department operations, programs, and expenditures. Maintains professional, effective communication and works cooperatively with other management and staff to ensure smooth and effective operations. Maintains sensitivity of confidential business or personal information.

    Building Administrator for 2713S and MO-291:
    • Greet visitors
    • Arrange service calls for maintenance and special housekeeping requests and tracks to completion
    • Act as a key custodian, Provide service crews access to secured rooms
    • Maintain office/cubicle seating charts
    • Manage furniture needs and excess
    • Act as an accountability aid for emergency preparedness
  • Inventory office supplies and place orders
  • Maintain Analytical Operations staff meeting/vacation schedules
  • Update employee information in site database
  • Prepare communications - memos, emails, reports, correspondence
  • Provide records management support
  • Create and maintain filing systems - electronic and physical
  • Maintain property/equipment inventories/assignments in site database
  • Schedule meetings including use of conference rooms
  • Prepare presentations and meeting agendas
  • Support company activity planning and execution
  • Support employee timecard submittal and Payroll department
  • Support assessments


Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications - must read, write, and understand the English language
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)


Desired Qualifications

  • High School diploma and 5 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience with Hanford Contractor administrative support


Compensation

Grade 4: $44,163 - $55,688

Grade 5: $48,600 - $61,300

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
