Description

As an SBA Loan Coordinator you will play a crucial role in facilitating and managing Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating the preparation of loan packages, ensuring compliance with SBA regulations, and working closely with borrowers, lenders, and underwriters.



  • Collect documents and ensure all information complies with SBA guidelines to insure SBA guaranty. Create the file and prepare SBA GP/CLP/PLP submission paperwork, including the SBA 7a Authorization. Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with Credit Memorandum (specific to SBA documentation and separate from internal documentation review performed by Commercial Loan Support).
  • Provide assistance as liaison between all parties involved with loan origination, documentation and funding. Assist commercial customers with SBA lending related activities, such as but not limited to: coordinating loan closings, coordinating preparation of loan documents, coordinating loan fundings, ordering title reports, UCC filings, IRS Tax Verifications, and various inquiries. Process and reconcile good faith funds of the customers for appraisals and environmental reports and make sure all invoices associated with processing of the loans are paid. Assist in boarding and servicing of SBA 7a and 504 loans.
  • Assist SBA and commercial relationship managers with administrative responsibilities, such as but not limited to: phones, filing, general correspondence, preparation of loan documents, maintaining credit/documentation files and gathering of financial information.
  • Prepare various monthly activity monitoring reports.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.



Requirements



  • Minimum of three years of SBA loan processing or loan servicing experience in a similar financial environment
  • Some college business courses preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • General knowledge of bank processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation
