Position Responsibilities

The successful PPM Sr. Consultant candidate will perform multiple work assignments including planning, designing, configuring, testing, user training, and implementing Deltek PPM software in accordance with customer business requirements, utilizing Delek's 'PROVEN' implementation methodology and templates, for Deltek customers domestically and internationally.

*This remote based / virtual position carries a utilization target of 75%
*Successful candidates must be willing to travel a minimum of 25%
*The candidate will determine work priorities in accordance with established project plans, project schedules, changing work demands and Delta Global Service's (DGC) policies& practices, escalating issues as appropriate
*The candidate will be responsible for securing sensitive customer data and when required, be ITAR trained
*The candidate will act as a primary functional lead on existing and new customer facing PPM engagements

*Applies analytical and technical thinking. Identifies and implements solutions to routine, moderately complex, and complex implementation challenges and issues. Uses ahigh degree of insight, research, and analytical skills, to develop new or enhanced methods and techniques to resolve problems.
*Identifies alternative resolutions, identifies and communicates risk factors to the project lead or PM and provides implementation recommendations.
*Acts as a trusted advisor by working closely with our customer to understand and anticipate their needs. Develops moderate and complex solutions and makes recommendations that consider the impact on other aspects of the project and on the customer's business.
*Relays concerns to project manager or client (if appropriate) with timely, meaningful, fact-based and constructive feedback.
*Contributes to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifies consulting skill set requirements, and develops timelines.
*Leverages life cycle implementation experience to anticipate changes required in project plans and processes. Takes initiative to achieve value-added results and improve upon solutions offered.
*Works under minimal supervision. May lead small work teams on engagements. Manages engagement scope and client expectations, when appropriate. Assists the project manager in monitoring implementation issues and status.
*Develops and fosters collaborative working relationships with both internal and external team members. Primarily communicates with immediate Deltek and client peers, project management team, and Deltek and client management.
*Occasionally supports business development efforts by participating in sales activities, product demonstrations,estimating work efforts, and other business development support activities.
*Applies a variety of DPS-PPM tools, techniques, processes and practices to varied assignments. Develops methods and techniques to improve the process of delivering solutions to customers; contributes to Delek's consulting knowledge base.
*Provides guidance, assistance, and training to other Deltek team members. Mentors and coaches' other consultants within the services organization.
*Identifies and appropriately communicates license and service opportunities.
*Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to: User conference presentations, team meetings, contributions that enhance services delivery initiatives, consulting practice, product training, and other initiatives.

Qualifications

*5 to 10 years consulting experience
*Software implementation experience
*B.A. /B.S. or equivalent work experience or technical and/or product knowledge comparable to four-year degree in a related area
*Experienced with all aspects of Microsoft Office products
*Prior consulting and travel-related experience
*Deltek Cobra, Open Plan and/or PM Compass

Desired Prior Experience / Qualifications:
*Designing, configuring, testing, training and documenting PPM processes / workflows
*Acumen, Winsight or equivalent
*Earned Value Management, Project Controls, Project Life cycle, Process Workflows, Estimating, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Resource Loaded Scheduling, Schedule and Cost Integration, Forecasting

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $68500.00 - $119750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
