Project and Service Assistant / Panel Operator for Security/Fire Inspection Team

1.) Helps conducts security and/or fire alarm testing and inspection. Monitors system during inspections to verify operability and helps to document all results and/or discrepancies with lead inspector. Helps to ensure that system is operating properly.

2.) Monitors fire alarm or access control (security) panels.

3.) Acts as "our customer's best service provider" at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer's first choice for service. Takes ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance.

4.) Performs all work in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures. Uses solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

5.) When not performing inspections, will provide assistance to higher level and more experienced Project and Service Specialists. Work may include installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with guidance as needed. Refers more complex issues to higher level colleagues.

6.) Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
