How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics, will work closely with members of the Marketing, Finance and IT departments. The manager will be responsible for creating measurable campaign test designs, building ML/AI models, writing and maintaining SQL and Python code and drive technical innovation through active research.

The ideal candidate will have a balanced background in Statistics, Data Science and Business Analytics. Subscription based background with churn/retention management experiences is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: rigorous statistical acumen, extensive data programming and strong communication.

What you'll do:

  • Define business requirements for Marketing Campaign test designs and model development.
  • Design, manage, and deliver ML/AI models, client analyses, such as customer profiling, segmentation studies, post-program measurement, and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Must have strong communication skills and experience understanding and translating analytical model results to business insights and presenting complex quantitative analysis to non-technical marketing/business executive decision makers.
  • Improve and assess business results, help improve sales, profitability and customer lifetime value through analysis.
  • Drive technical innovation through active research and application of new theories, techniques, and technologies in areas such as marketing experiments and AI modeling and application.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries of findings and detailed working team communications, with responsive iterations on such presentations based on individual data visualization preferences.
  • Assist in engagements with key business stakeholders in discussions on business strategies and opportunities.
  • Build strong working relationships and develop deep partnerships with Marketing lines of business.

What you'll need:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, especially within IT/BI and Marketing
  • Experience with customer level intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept ability to explain complex data products in simple terms
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative field is required for this position
  • 7+ years building machine learning and AI models for supervised and unsupervised learning, understanding of underlying algorithms, ability to tune and analyze algorithms and extract actionable insights.
  • Fluent in Python and SQL coding. Experiences of Databricks is preferred.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
