Senior Mechanical Design Drafter

• Design electromechanical and mechanical products to customer specifications.
• Create detailed technical and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
• Apply GD&T to ensure manufacturability and assembly consistency.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Manufacturing to source component vendors.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials in ERP systems and assembly drawings.
• Recommend improvements to design processes and procedures.
• Design and assemble test fixtures based on requirements.
• Mentor and train other Mechanical Designers.

• Strong mechanical design and detailing skills for manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and knowledgeable in ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Experience with electromechanical design and practical problem-solving.
• Knowledge of documentation control practices and inspection tools/methods.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across departments and with vendors.
• Technical leadership with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Understanding of mechanical power transmission and motion control is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
