Job Summary: This position supports all functions of tools and equipment with the primary focus on safe and timely delivery and return/pick up of tools, equipment, or product. This position will operate warehouse equipment and assist with tool check in/out, tool repair/upkeep ensuring safety first, procurement, shipping/receiving, and support of general buildings and grounds duties as needed.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of working in a tool/warehouse environment and mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Ability to regularly and load and unload large tool crates with multiple sets of tools, heavy chains and field equipment (will be trained to identify tools by name, location and use).
- Demonstrated skills necessary to provide outstanding, friendly, professional and timely service
- Must be 18 years of age, have a clean driving record, and ability to pass the required DOT physical.
- Ability to work longer hours and/or weekends as needed.
- Ability to drive a Forklift and become certified.
Certification, License, Registration:
- Forklift certification or ability to maintain within 30 days (provided by Jamar).
- Have or obtain DOT health card (provided by Jamar). Required to maintain.

Position provides outstanding customer service in the following areas:
Tool & Equipment Fulfillment / Delivery:
- Deliver tools, equipment, or product to job sites in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform regular vehicle safety check, including proper securing of load.
- Follow all traffic laws. Use caution when driving and choosing where to park company vehicle. Avoid any areas that may cause congestion, present safety issue when unloading, or interfere with the road or customers' traffic flow.
- Check tool list of products against product delivered or picked up. Ensure all orders are accurate, complete and on time.
- Inspect and maintain incoming tools; assess the condition of tools for safe use or repair if needed. Communicate to appropriate staff regarding replacement needs.
- Assist management in issuance and return of fleet vehicles as necessary.
Buildings and Grounds Maintenance:
- Assist manager in ensuring the safety and security of the building and grounds at all times.
- Respond to building maintenance requests; seasonal upkeep of parking lots, walkways, and building entrances, snow removal, garbage and recycling removal including any recycling or special receptacle needs.
- Respond to internal requests for office; change lightbulbs, stock and store cleaning supplies, communicate with building vendors including cleaning staff to ensure supplies are available.
Shipping and Receiving:
- Accept all incoming freight. Notify appropriate department personnel and store materials appropriately.
- Shipping to include packaging using best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:
$17.00 to $25.00 hourly base pay, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
