Function:

Environmental, Health & Safety Job Summary:The Quality Control Technician is responsible for providing the Woodward Complex with competent analytical and environmental chemistry support in a timely, cost effective manner to minimize costs, optimize production, and maintain compliance with all applicable environmental regulations. Qualifications:

Chemistry, biology or relevant laboratory degree required

Chemical or manufacturing plant technical knowledge and/or related work experience

Successful Incumbents will have:

Ability to maintain health, safety, and environmental standards as a personal performance core value

Basic computer knowledge

Basic laboratory knowledge and ability

Physical capability, availability, willingness, and ability to work in a team environment

Good interpersonal and influential skills

Willingness to work overtime and be on call

Ability to work under minimum supervision

Willingness to travel for training

Effective organizational, time management, and communication skills

Self-motivation in advancing to the highest level possible
