Charge Nurse - Med/Surg

Unit Description: The Med/Surg Charge Nurse is responsible for managing all aspects of nursing responsibilities during each shift. The Charge nurse will be a highly competent and well-organized professional who places the patient at the center of every decision made. The charge nurse values safety, security, and patient wellness above all else. This role focuses on providing the best care possible while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. This nursing leader works closely with the management team to ensure nursing excellence and patient satisfaction.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• BLS required, ACLS for specific departments

On-call: Not required.

Incentives: $20,000 for night shift, $3/hour Charge shift differential, and $9,200 relocation bonus for relocating RNs
