Position Title: Staff Test Engineer (JR101379)

Job Description:

Define, design and implement complex Network and Firmware qualifications. Manage complex Network Test environments in Cellular, RF, Wi-Fi and Ethernet Networks. Configure and test Mesh networks. Analyze/triage test results and work closely with developers/customers to help resolve issues. Test various real-time embedded software applications. Conduct debugging, validation, and automation tasks for firmware features, including maintaining regression tests. Verify the automated execution of tests for firmware functionalities. Develop and maintain software tools, including Python-based applications using the Django framework and MSSQL. Create automated scripts for provisioning devices onto a network, obtaining IPv6 addresses, and generating reports. Establish and maintain dashboards for monitoring setups. Ensure end-to-end network connectivity across various use case scenarios, evaluating latency and throughput.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a directly related field
• Three (3) years of experience in a network testing role or similar occupation
• Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Testing Network Interface Cards and Routing Protocols.
  • Wireless technologies, RF fundamentals and ethernet.
  • Network protocols; Layer1 - 4 Testing, Security and Penetration Testing
  • Programming in C, Bash, or Python
  • Configuring and testing mesh networks

40 hours/week. 9:00am - 5:00pm

Salary: 97,510.00 - $102,510.00/year
