Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology (IT) team at our Wichita, KS headquarters. The IT team is a vital component in KES' strategy to improve business performance through technical innovation and profitable transformation. Our team functions as a startup entity within our enterprise to develop innovative solutions and build a market for their solutions through transforming KES work processes.

Our Team

As a Business Systems Analyst on the KES Information Technology team, you will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment, collaborating with our Commercial and Manufacturing organizations to develop solutions and validate their value through experimentation and scalable deployment. You will aid team members in overcoming obstacles while capturing business requirements, mapping processes, and developing functional and technical specifications. You will coordinate and implement test plans and manage organizational changes, ensuring that the most current technologies and best practices are leveraged for success. Like an employee of a startup, you will need to be resourceful and capable of partnering with key stakeholders, building relationships, and interacting with market solution providers that can accelerate progress of our business objectives.

What You Will Do in Your Role

  • Execute against prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business strategies.
  • Collaborate across IT teams (application development, infrastructure, and support) and KES business partners to implement business transformation projects, providing functional and technical analysis, driving experiments, and contributing input to determine the best solutions.
  • Communicate effectively to business partners, IT teams and Leadership on status, risks and roadblocks, and aiding team members to overcome obstacles.
  • Effectively capture business requirements and user stories, mapping business processes, and developing functional and technical specifications. Configuration of systems as required.
  • Coordinating and implementing test plans and processing changes through the organization as needed.
  • Staying current on technologies and best practices, ensuring that we are leveraging the best knowledge to achieve success.
  • In this role, you may have the opportunity to travel up to 10% of the time, depending on project needs and available opportunities.

Who You Are Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in Technology, Commercial Sales, or Business operations.
  • Experience working on projects from idea to implementation, executing all aspects of solution delivery including requirements gathering, scope definition, status reporting, and understanding project risks.
  • Experience working with software vendors or software development to solve business needs.
  • Experience working with Salesforce (CRM).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree with a Technology, Sales, Economics, or Marketing Focus
  • Experience in business system analysis, process analysis, or technical analysis experience
  • Experience working within AGILE Teams and DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Experience working with SQL, SOQL, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce integration methodologies.
  • Experience with INFOR LN (ERP), and API integrations.
  • Experience working with global teams.
