Psychiatric Nurse - PRN - Russellton, PA

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program and possess a valid PA Registered Nurse licensure or Practical Nurse licensed required.
• 1 year of mental health, behavioral health, forensic, sexual offending behaviors, or residential services required.
  
  
  
  • Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and recovery driven service system
  
  
  
  
• Valid Driver's License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations.

Earn $29.05 - 42.17/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Position Details

The nursing position is responsible for completing and monitoring all medical requirements of the program. Merakey Adult Behavioral Health Services support individuals in attaining wellness and recovery through respectful, person-centered relationships and services. These services will promote hope and empowerment to help individuals reach their full potential.

This candidate will be working in a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) facility, with individuals with a mental illness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, assess for any physical illnesses, and Educate residents on healthy living and medication.
