Senior Java Developer

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Developer, Java to lead a team of top-notch technologists. You will work with global agile teams on a range of technologies to develop, test, and deliver products with quality for leading clients in the US. Working alongside other talented minds with strong technical skills, you'll solve complex business problems to deliver software applications and services that positively impact our clients and their customers.

Your Technical Skills and Experience:

• 5+ayearsaof strong software development experience with expertise in Java 8 and above.
• Experience with Multi-threading, Collections, and concurrent API.
• Knowledge and how to apply the latest Java (9) features
• Experience with concepts,atools, and technologies to address NFRs like security, performance,areliability, maintainability and advocate relevant trade-offs
• Thoroughaexperience in writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage (Junit, Mockito, etc.)
• Experience in Microservices, 12-factor methodology, and automated integration testing
• Experience in APIamanagement, Swagger
• Deepaexperience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrixadependingaon theasolutions
• Working experience with data platforms (relational and/or NoSQL) and messaging technologies
• ExcellentaOOPs, data structure, algorithm knowledge
• Working experience with common UNIX commands and scripts
• Understandingaof HTTPS/TLS, Symmetric/Asymmetric Cryptography, Certificates, SAML, Vaults, Key rotation, OAuth, JWT, MFA, DDOS, etc.
• Experience:
  • with containers and virtualization (Docker, Vagrant)
  • with distributed, cloud design patterns and architectural styles
  • with developing high performance and high scalabilityaenterpriseaapplications using one or moreasupportingacloud platforms across SaaS and PaaS including Amazon AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • practicing infra as code usingatoolsalike terraform, cloud-formation, ansible, etc.
• Ability to set up a CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure from grounds-up (Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Knowledge of load-balancers, CDNs, Edge caching, reverse proxies
• Ability and willingness toalearnatechnologies at pace
• Excellentaverbal and writtenacommunication
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Experience in one or more front-end development technologies
• Working experience creating high performing applications including profiling and tuning (of those applications to boost performance)
• Knowledge of one or more security or integration framework
• Experience in TDD/BDD
• Experience in Scrum/Agile Cloud Certifications at a professional or Architect level
• Willingness to travel

Pay Range: $130,000 - $142,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
