Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead Human Resources Project Manager to join our team in Holland, MI.
TheLead HR Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing human resources transformation initiatives and projects within the HR organization aimed at enhancing the employee experience. This pivotal role supports the entire HR group and offers high visibility and significant exposure to our business operations. A combination of HR expertise and project management skills will be crucial in navigating complex challenges and ensuring successful project implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with business goals. A successful candidate is a persuasive communicator and strategic thinker with strong change management skills who can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Functions
- Lead end-to-end HR projects, including HR Transformation initiatives, process improvements, and new HR programs.Analyze current HR processes and suggest improvements for efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness and identify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies within the HR function.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Track and report project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining high-quality standards through partnering with HR and IT teams to optimize HR technology usage and improve user experience.
- Maintain project documentation, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
- Engage and align with HR leadership, COEs, HR Business Partners, business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive project success and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Partner to drive change management initiatives across the organization, to provide minimal disruption during transformations.
- Analyze current HR processes and suggest improvements for efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness and identify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies within the HR function.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in the Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent in relevant field of study.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.
- Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
*Related experience is defined as working experience in the areas of Human Resources, Program or Project Management, Management, Process Improvement, or similar. Work Experience:
- 7 years related experience with Bachelor's degree or,
- 5 years related experience with Master's Degree
In addition:
- Ability to travel up to 10percent of the time domestically.
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong project management expertise, including Project Management Certifications/Licensure (PMP, IPMA, etc.)
- Experience leading LEAN Sigma efforts or Operational efficiency improvement efforts in multiple functions or contexts such as IT, Procurement, Operations, HR and others.
- Preferred experience working with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar HR systems.
- Ability to support Spanish-speaking employees in navigating various human resources questions or concerns.
