Thomas College seeks a dynamic and student-centered Assistant Director of Admissions to join our Admissions team. This full-time, 12-month position reports to the Director of Admissions and plays a pivotal role in recruiting prospective students, mentoring Admissions Counselors, and leading key initiatives and events.

In this role, you will:

  • Guide prospective students through the admissions funnel
  • Represent Thomas College at recruitment events, fairs, and high schools throughout New England
  • Organize and participate in group visits and high-profile events such as Thomas Cup and JMG
  • Provide specialized training and daily support to Admissions Counselors
  • Plan and manage Fall and Spring travel schedules
  • Collaborate with departments across campus, including Student Financial Services, Marketing, and Athletics
  • Maintain professional, student-first conduct and appearance at all times

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior admissions experience and a strong understanding of the admissions process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and training ability
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM systems (especially Slate), and social media messaging tools
  • Ability to travel extensively, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
