Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Women's Services plans and implements all clinical and business efforts to promote health and assure excellent clinical care. The APP facilitates patient transitions within and between health care settings. The APP will also coordinate education and outreach. The APP will participate in activities that contribute to the education of other healthcare professionals including precepting, presenting and publishing. Schedule: Typically Monday - Friday with flexible hours. Practice open 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. Experience Special Skills/Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health. Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/master's in nursing. Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in area of specialty Hold a valid, current New Jersey license. Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. BLS certification In collaboration with the collaborating or supervising physician the APP will:
