JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsibilities include development of cost models for new product opportunities.
* Analyze customer engineering drawings and documentation for materials, process, and quality elements.
* Development of the associated bill of material and routing sequence in the cost model.
* Assist in the estimation of required tooling and gages
* Prepare tech data for sourcing team to quote requirements of raw material and Outside Vendor processing.
* Review incoming RFQ opportunities for completeness of documentation (prints, cad models, and BOM).
* Manage gated process of quotes to meet quick turn time requirements leveraging site estimators and centralized team members.
* Support bid review meetings weekly at sites as assigned
* Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS Degree in related Engineering discipline or extensive experience.
* Aerospace industry experience
* Minimum of seven years direct experience in process or manufacturing engineering of Aerospace machining components.
* Ability to generate cost models and process steps utilizing a 3D CAD system with advanced modeling experience, NX (Unigraphics) required.
* Experience reviewing and preparing RFQ responses.
* Minimum of seven years direct experience in process or manufacturing engineering of Aerospace machining components.
* Ability to generate cost models and process steps utilizing a 3D CAD system with advanced modeling experience, NX (Unigraphics) required.
* Working knowledge of EDM, multi-axis machining centers, lathes and grinding machine capabilities.
* Familiarity with various processes like Brazing, Welding, Heat Treatment, plating, and plasma coating.
* Must be a team player and have ability to work in a cross functional environment.
