Description

Location: Norfolk, MA - MCI Norfolk. Medication for Opiod Use Disorder Program

Schedule: Monday-Friday, No Mandating.One remote on call weekend shift per month

Salary: $93,000- $97,760.00 annual salary.

The Nursing Supervisor provides support to the nursing and management staff as needed and aids the Director of Nursing. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing nursing care for patients in the assigned DOC MOUD Programs and collaborates with the management team to ensure high quality service delivery. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

TheNursing Supervisoris responsible for:



  • Providing operational and supervisory support to the nursing staff in assigned regions and ensure compliance with all policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Developing and maintain the nursing schedule at the assigned regions, ensuring adequate nursing coverage at all times.
  • Ensuring an adequate supply of medication is maintained at the assigned sites. This includes maintaining an adequate supply of 222 forms, when ordering when necessary to prevent delays in receiving medication.
  • Participating in on call nursing rotation.
  • The control, counting and appropriate documentation of onsite medication.
  • Educates patients on use, purpose, side-effects, and other information relating to medication-assisted treatment.
  • Verifying medication orders with the qualified addiction specialist and transcribes the orders.
  • Assisting in the admission process and documents substance use disorder diagnosis as required.



Qualifications

  • Valid MA RN or LPN license from accredited school required.
  • Must have current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience in substance use disorder/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred
  • DOC experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
