As Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our organization. You will serve as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise on policies, processes, and best practices. Your ability to influence others and identify areas for improvement will be instrumental in enhancing our team's overall performance. You will leverage your expertise to provide guidance, mentor team members, and implement strategies that enhance project efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

Serve as the SME within the function, providing in-depth knowledge of policies, processes, and best practices Leverage expertise and effective communication to influence others, even without formal authority Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance performance Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Work closely with the Construction and Development Teams to coordinate project schedules, prepare project status reports, communicate project progress, and assist with documents and processes as required Ensure execution of proper documentation and process for every project Organize and attend site visits. Create and manage deficiency lists and project photos. Upload photos into the system Assist with the delivery and pick up of drawings, permits, deposits as required Communicate with vendors on an ongoing basis: site related coordination, invoices, POs, payments, permit application Assist with permit application process Assist to ensure construction timelines are up to date and in accordance with project schedules/ notifications Ensure issue of close out checklist and submission of close out documents Oversee, coordinate, and track the vendor onboarding process Assist team members with any training and use of implemented processes and programs Willingness to learn and positive attitude towards others and scope of work
Qualifications:
Analytical skills to audit data and processes, recommending improvements which help the function adapt to business changes Able to proactively drive positive change within the function through continuous improvement and special projects Effective at cross-functional collaboration, and bridges process and data gaps with upstream and downstream customers leading to better performance within and outside the function Ability to negotiate effectively with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with operations Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), Outlook Communication skills (listening, verbal and written) Negotiations Problem solving Time management
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year as Project Coordinator May be required to travel occasionally to work on projects or provide training in other markets No record of counseling or disciplinary action Meticulous and precise in completing tasks, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors Demonstrated understanding of complex financial concepts, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management Post-Secondary Education either University Degree (i.e. Business or Engineering degree) or College Diploma (Business or Construction Management Program 3+ years of relevant work experience in project management Strong working knowledge of MS Project is preferred
