Community Accountability Department coordinates the enterprise-wide business unit efforts to ensure effective engagement with, investment in and extension of bank products and services to the communities in which Associated Bank operates. Collectively, these efforts comprise the company's Community Strategy and are governed by the Community Oversight Committee.Responsible for building long term and effective relationships in support of the company's Community Strategy in a defined region/territory. Identify and engage with a variety of sourcing entities spanning the public and private sector, and include nonprofit and for profit organizations. Work to achieve the goals set forth in the Community Commitment Plan by developing and deepening relationships and partnerships with critical influencers within these organizations that help the bank and impacted lines of business achieve goals for targeted production and investment. Work with the CRA Department, LOB Leaders, Community Market Presidents and other internal influencers and make recommendations for partnerships and support of organizations and initiatives that drive targeted production and outreach opportunities that support the Community Strategy across our assessment areas. Represent the bank through participation, attendance and engagement in conferences, local boards/councils, and other economic development opportunities as they arise. Serve as an expert for our managers and staff around the bank's community engagement efforts. Work with the Community Accountability Director and line of business heads to support execution on community commitment plans and strategies. This could include input on negotiations with community activities, development and response to community group requests, working with line management to ensure products, policies, procedures and controls are in place to capture all of the banks efforts to meet its regulatory and community commitment plan objectives, working with the CA Director to track and report market level progress, and managing successful implementation of projects and initiatives that help achieve results including lending, investment, donations and volunteer engagement. This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z. Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.
