Overview

Sierra Lobo, Inc. offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

This position is located at our Hoover Road facility in Milan, Ohio.



Responsibilities

Fabricate, install, modify, maintain/repair all levels of electrical systems such as:

    Low and medium voltage AC power systems
  • DC power systems
  • PLC controls
  • Conduit systems
  • Explosion-proof "hazardous environment" equipment
  • Wire crimping and terminations
  • Motor maintenance
  • Transformers
  • Illumination/lighting
  • Generators
  • Switchgear
  • Breakers, switches, relays, starters, and field devices

Work with specialized devices such as valve limit switches, pressure transducers, valve control loops, vacuum and flow switches, proximity detectors, flame and combustible gas detectors, photocells, thermocouples, transducers, etc.



Qualifications

  • Requires comprehension of:

    • NFPA 70 "National Electric Code"
    • NFPA 70E "Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace"
    • OSHA Standards
    • IEEE Standard
    • Experience with ISO9001:2000 or AS91000 Quality Systems
    • Read and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and technical documentation
    • Circuit analysis using DVM, Cu calculating wave forms, tracing relationships in signal flow.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Journeyman Electrical Certificate; or Associate of Applied Science Degree in Engineering Technology
    • Minimum six (6) years of related filed experience
    • Must be a US Citizen
