Multicraft Technician

* Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns

* Determine the root cause of the failures and put countermeasures in place

* Maintain plant equipment through PM's

* Machine shop equipment experience (Mill, Lathe)

* Complete assigned work orders in an efficient manner

* Document parts and labor usage via Prism

* Minimize equipment downtime

* Perform repairs efficiently and in a professional manner

* Maintain inventory and work on storeroom cycle counts

* Basic electrical

* Food Safety Audits (Team Member)

* Support Digital Plant

* Support Production team

* Willingness to take training for job

* Continuous improvement projects

• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in using manual and power tools
• Ability to trouble-shoot/repair mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic problems
• Basic fabrication and machining skills
• Use of precision measuring devices including micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, pye tape, etc.
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to operate a high-lift
• Ability to prioritize tasks and projects
• Ability to check fuses; wire motors; repair lighting issues
• Ability to repair plumbing issues; add additional piping as required
