Job Summary The Lead Utility Strategy Analystis a role in CenterPoint's Utility Strategy group that supports enterprise-wide initiatives impacting CenterPoint's business operations. Utility Strategy sits at the intersection of operations, regulatory, and several support functions. The group drives organic growth strategy across CenterPoint's electric and gas service territories and is a critical support function to CenterPoint's executive leadership team. A successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the energy and utility landscape, analyzing identified opportunities for CenterPoint Energy, and developing communication materials on the identified opportunities for senior leadership. Candidates should have a keen interest in emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities in the utility landscape, a strong analytical background, a collaborative work style, and an ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form. A candidate should feel comfortable with ambiguous problems and have the ability to apply a hypothesis-driven, logical approach to such problems.
